Making Dutch payroll and HR administration genuinely simple.
In 2018 I co-founded Employes with Rob Kroezen. We built our own payroll engine from the ground up, grew to more than 5,000 customers and 450 colleagues, and in 2025 Employes became part of Shine, a European fintech group.
I was there from the first line of code to a company at scale. That's exactly the range I like to work across: deep technical work, and the leadership it takes to grow a product and a team around it.
